Artist's Comments

Great thing about this character is that he can be called by any word that references bad luck, since that's what he is, the personification of bad luck.

And I can't seem to draw him in a real standing pose, he has to be floating or I can't get him right.

The drawing took forever, so I went real quick and sloppy with the coloring. Markers + colored pencils.

I wanna draw a reference picture of what his torso looks like under those clothes. But that would require having to remember what the cat we dissected in anatomy looked like when we took out all the organs and the back wall of the abdomen was exposed....

Thanks.
Everyone goes on that list. You. Me. George Bush. The Queen of England. Random homeless person on the street. Fleas. Trees. Tigers. Deer. Rats. Stars. Everyone and everything, because at some point everyone and everything encounters an amount of bad luck, and some things like people or anything with a life span greater than a day will be visited by Bad Luck more than once, with varying scales of intensity from super ultra bad (usually orchestrated in conjunction with Death) to losing a favorite eraser or something. Misfortune is indiscriminate; if it exists, it can get bad luck. His sister Lady Luck works in the exact same way.

She'll come to you in time. More than likely, she has come to you before, and either you don't remember it or you just didn't realize it.

Nobody gets ignored by the forces of Luck.
